German Uganda Cranes Set for 2025 AFCON Draw in Rabat.

The Uganda Cranes will mark their return to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after missing the last two editions.
They are among the 24 nations set to participate in the final group stage draw, scheduled to take place in Morocco’s capital, Rabat, on 27th January 2025.
The highly anticipated event will begin at 9:00 PM Ugandan time, with all 24 teams divided into six groups of four.
This will be Uganda’s 8th appearance at the AFCON and the 35th edition of the tournament. Notably, the competition returns to Morocco for the first time since 1988.
Uganda secured their qualification from Group K, finishing behind table leaders South Africa. The group also included Congo Brazzaville and South Sudan, who were unable to advance.
