Monday – Bright Stars continued their superb form with another win against relegation threatened Busoga United at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

The visitors took the lead in the 55th minute through Ibrahim Kasinde with a beautiful left footed shot out of the box after an incredible run.

The last 15 minutes of the match were characterized by very fast and high tempo game with both teams creating several chances.

The hosts got a penalty in the 85th minute, unfortunately, they couldn’t level the scores, even from the spot.

Bright Stars have now won four league matches in a row for the first time this season and will look to continue with their terrific form.

Bright Stars are currently fifth on the Uganda Premier League table on 17 points.

Meanwhile, Busoga United remain in the relegation zone with 3 points, one ahead of bottom placed Onduparaka FC.
