Ahmed Moalim: The Somali Agent Behind SFF’s Landmark International Deal.
Somali football has entered a new era following a groundbreaking partnership between the Somali Football Federation (SFF) and Triple Keys Sports.
At the center of this development is Ahmed Moalim, a prominent Somali football agent whose efforts were instrumental in sealing the agreement.
Ahmed Moalim, who grew up in Saudi Arabia, has emerged as one of the leading football agents in the Gulf region. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation by facilitating high-profile player transfers and forging strategic partnerships across borders.

He made headlines as the first agent to successfully transfer a Saudi Arabian player, Saud Abdulhamid, to a top-tier European club — joining AS Roma in Italy’s Serie A.
His impressive portfolio also includes arranging major moves such as: Odion Ighalo to Al Shabab (Saudi Arabia) and Mahmoud Trezeguet to Al Rayyan (Qatar).
Now, Moalim has turned his attention to developing football in his home country, Somalia. Through the new partnership with Triple Keys Sports, he aims to:
Support the growth and development of Somali players. Create international exposure and career pathways. Promote and uplift women’s football in Somalia.
This collaboration signals a new beginning for Somali football, with hopes of building a brighter and more competitive future both locally and on the international stage.
