At the center of this development is Ahmed Moalim, a prominent Somali football agent whose efforts were instrumental in sealing the agreement.
Ahmed Moalim, who grew up in Saudi Arabia, has emerged as one of the leading football agents in the Gulf region. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation by facilitating high-profile player transfers and forging strategic partnerships across borders.
He made headlines as the first agent to successfully transfer a Saudi Arabian player, Saud Abdulhamid, to a top-tier European club — joining AS Roma in Italy’s Serie A.
His impressive portfolio also includes arranging major moves such as: Odion Ighalo to Al Shabab (Saudi Arabia) and Mahmoud Trezeguet to Al Rayyan (Qatar).
