Anukani scores a delightful goal as Vipers ran riot against Bright Stars FC

Vipers SC midfield maestro Bright Anukani scored with a beauty of a long range shot as Vipers hit Bright Stars with four goals. Vipers move closer to another chance at lifting the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The Venoms took the lead through Bright Anukani after a fine finish from the spot, at the 17th minute skipper Milton Karisa doubled the venoms lead after tapping in from close range. Anukani produced a moment of magic in the 27th minute, the attacking midfielder, shot from the centre ark, catching Bright Stars goalkeeper off-guard. Karim Watambala made it four in extra time.

The Venoms will take a four-goal lead into next Tuesday’s second leg against Soltilo Bright Stars FC at Kavumba.
