Arua Hill SC bow out of the Uganda Cup

Arua Hill SC endured a difficult evening away from home as Elite FC claimed a victory and sent the kongolo out of the Uganda Cup for the second successive season.

The visitors, who needed to win to qualify for the knock-out stages, were a goal down inside 11 minutes.

Innocent Media leveled scores in the 29th minute after a through ball by Ogwang. The visitors had further chances to take advantage, but couldn’t make most of the opportunities.

Elite FC went on to win in the shootouts after successfully converting 2 penalities against the visitor’s 1.

In the last edition of the cup, Arua Hill SC were also eliminated in the first round by Tipsha on penalties.
