1 min readCoach Mike Mutebi and his assistant Jackson Mayanja have been relieved of their duties by Rwandan club AS Kigali this afternoon.
The dismissal follows his poor performance after his side lost 1-0 to Rayon Sports over the weekend.
Mike Mutebi and his assistant were appointed earlier this year replacing coach Eric Nshimiyimana at the club.
Mike Mutebi who left KCCA FC last year after a mutual consent to terminate his contract tried to cut a managerial deal with Rwandan side Kiyovu Sports but talks were later aborted.

In his managerial stay at the club, he won 3 games, drew 7 and lost 3 scoring 15 goals and conceding 12.
His departure leaves AS Kigali in the 5th position with 37 points of the 16 tabled league championship.
AS Kigali has immediately appointed former Bandari FC club head coach Cassa Mbungo Andre to lead the club till the end of the season.
His contract term is one year according to local sources in Rwanda.
