CAF Awards 2023 Nominees for the Men’s Categories.

The Awards Gala is scheduled for 11th December 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco.

Thirty players made the cut for the top prize; CAF African Player of the Year, whilst 20 players have been nominated for the CAF Interclub Player of the Year.

Coach of the Year, CAF National Team of the Year and Club of the Year have 10 nominees each just as CAF Young Player of the Year (Under 21 years).

The nominees of the CAF African Player of the Year include;

Victor Osimhen of Nigeria, looks to be the favorite winner of this year’s Player of the Year award, let’s see if all the odds are up for him come 11th December 23.

The nominees of the CAF InterClub Player of the Year (MEN);

The nominees of the Coach of the Year 2023 include;

Marcel Koller of Al Ahly won the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2022-2023, Egyptian Premier League and Egyptian Super Cup 2022-2023.

Walid Regragui led Morocco national team to the Semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup 2022.

The nominees of the CAF National Team of the Year 2023;

Morocco is ranked as the 13th best national team in the world after their performance in the World Cup 2023 in Qatar finishing fourth in the whole tournament.

The nominees of the Club of the Year 2023 include the following;

Al Ahly won the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2022-2023 and went ahead to win the Egyptian Premier League and Egyptian Super Cup 2022-2023.

The CAF Young Player of the Year (MEN) under 21 include the following;
