Kigulu held to a draw by Luuka in the Busoga Masaza Cup.

The Busoga Masaza Cup back to back defending Champion, Kigulu County based in Iganga got a draw against Luuka county at Saza ground.

The minister in charge of sports in the Busoga kingdom, Mr Amin Bbosa was in attendance.

The game started in a high temple with both teams attacking each other.

The visitors put up an entertaining display in the first minutes of the game but could not find the back of the net.

In the 21st minute, Tambula Musa was cautioned for dissent.

In the 40th minute, Luuka failed to convert an open chance with keeper to beat.

At halftime, no team managed to break the deadlock and the center referee, Tumuhise John Baptist sent teams to rest.

At start of second half, head coach for Kigulu County, Kimera Ali made a tripple substitution of Mukungu Jamil, Ziraba Sefu and Gabiri Juma replaced by Kiyemba Ali, Onongo Denis and Mubiru Ali respectively.

In the 49th minute, Kigulu’s center half Bakaki Daniel was substituted after getting an injury and replaced by Kigongo Ayub.

3 minutes past an hour mark, Luuka county made a double substitution.

In the 65th minute, Kigulu County introduced Magumba Barrack to replace Ssengoba Nicholas.

In the 67th minute, Luuka County captain Oketcho David was given a yellow card for a serious foul play.

Luuka county goal keeper, Mugaya Ali was given a yellow card for time wasting.

The game ended in a goalless.
