Friday – Arua Hill SC secured a routine win over Express at Wankulukuku Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The Barifa side took the lead early in the first half through forward Isaac Ogwang who fired Maduka’s header into the far end of the net.
The visitors were a threat to the homeside through out halftime. Reagan came close to making it 2-0 but his long range effort could only go inches high after Denis Otim getting off his line.
Joseph Dhata had the two best chances for the Red Eagles early in the second half but his shots went narrowly wide.
With 18 minutes to time, Ivan Mayanja came close to equalizing but couldn’t perfectly connect his header on goal.
The Wankulukuku side will play KCCA FC away at Lugogo in their next league match.
Meanwhile, Arua Hill have now won two successive games for the second time this season. The West Nile based side had a dip in form losing four games in a row before returning to winning ways against Onduparaka FC at home.
Arua Hill have now moved to 5th on 16 points while Express slip down to 7th on 14 points.
