FUFA Big League – Kitara FC Suspend Head Coach for Misconduct
Tuesday – FUFA Big League table leaders Kitara FC have suspended head coach Mark Twinamatsiko for two months after being found guilty of gross internal misconduct.

According to sources, Twinamatsiko has been implicated in indiscipline cases which include abusing players, threatening players not to be included in the starting team, sidelining players claiming they are injured and selecting players based on friendship not football.
Club statement:
“The Kitara Club management has with immediate effect suspended head coach Mark Twinamatsiko for two months until 23 March 2023 due to internal reasons.
“He will receive his monthly salary through out the entire duration of the suspension. In the meantime Richard Makumbi and Denis Kiyimba will handle the club’s technical matters.”

Mark Twinamatsiko guided Kitara FC to the Uganda Premier League in 2020. His side earned a hard fought 1-0 win over Kiboga Young in the FUFA Big League final play-off at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Twinamatsiko returned to the club ahead at the start of the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season.
