The home side had the first big chance of the game as Richard Faizal Muwawu’s effort moved wide.

Bul took the lead in the 13’ minute through Hillary Onek who headed home Ibrahim Mugulusi’s corner.

The goal was preceded by an end-to-end contest between the two sides as Gaddafi tried to level the scores.

Wamboya Mubarak made two changes early on in the second period bringing in Alex Kitata and Nazir Serwadda for Umar Kyeyune and George Kasonko respectively.

The visitors continued controlling much of the game for a longer spell at the expense of the soldier boys.

Gaddafi FC suffered a setback in the quarter hour mark as Douglas Muganga got sent off after a second yellow card.

Ambrose Kiirya rose up to double BUL’s advantage 30 minutes to time.

The result leaves Gaddafi FC 9th on 28 points, while Bul FC move to third position on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log, 2 points behind second placed KCCA FC, and 11 points behind table leaders Vipers SC.

Next up for Gaddafi FC is an away trip to table leaders Vipers SC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Wakiso as Bul FC welcome KCCA FC in a top-three clash.
