Isaac Ogwang Poised for Big Move as January Transfer Talks Near Completion

Vipers SC are on the verge of signing Isaac Ogwang in the January transfer window, with negotiations reportedly in their final stages. The forward, who played the first half of the Uganda Premier League season with Police FC, has declined to renew his contract, which expires at the start of 2025.
Ogwang, previously with SC Villa and Arua Hill SC, was instrumental in Police FC’s promotion from the FUFA Big League in the 2023/24 season, scoring over 12 goals. His consistent performances have earned him a move to Vipers SC, who currently lead the league standings.

The signing comes at a crucial time for Vipers, who are keen to bolster their squad to maintain their top position through to May 2025.
Ogwang will join a formidable attacking lineup that includes Allan Okello, Yunus Sentamu, and Milton Karisa, as the club aims to ensure a steady supply of goals in the second half of the season.
Although the transfer fee remains undisclosed, sources indicate that Vipers’ president is prepared to invest up to UGX 60 million to secure the services of the 27-year-old.
