The Olympic champion and champion of the world wins another gold medal tonight.

Joshua Cheptegei was hungry for gold tonight ahead of the race.

He joins the elite group of Athletes such as Haile Gebrselassie, Kenenisa Bekele and Briton Mo Fara to win back to back world 10,000m Championships.

He managed a season best of 27:27:4 to clinch gold, Kiplimo came in third to pick up bronze.

Ethiopian Solomon Barega couldn’t match Cheptegei’s speed towards the final 100metres of the track.

The Kenyans and Ethiopians in the pack were tough but not tough enough to keep the Ugandan duo from being in the medal positions.

A perfect night for Chepetegei and Uganda as a country, revenge awaits when they race again with Solomon Barega a few days from now.

A race not to miss.
