Onduparaka 2-2 Maroons – Prisons Side Held by Resolute Caterpillars

Monday – Onduparaka FC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with visitors Maroons, the club’s first home league match at Greenlight stadium this season.

Both sides had spells on top in an open and entertaining game, but it was Onduparaka FC who struck first.

Nathan Oloro put the caterpillars ahead with a penalty that sent Greenlight wild, but a defensive mistake saw Isaac Mpagi pounce to level.

Amaku Alfred put the visitors in the driving seat in the 65th minute.

But Onduparaka responded in the 90th minute when Okocha Rashid fired home to draw the game level.

Maroons are only two points behind 8th placed Arua Hill in the table but came into the game after a win at home against Gaddafi FC.
