In a gripping West Nile affair at Greenlight Stadium, Onduparaka FC secured a triumphant 3-0 win over Calvary FC, as they wrap up the season on a high note.
The match kicked off with both teams displaying determination and skill, but it was Onduparaka who seized control early on. Despite a spirited effort from Calvary FC, the Caterpillars dominated possession and created numerous scoring opportunities.
In the 15th minute, fans witnessed the first notable action as Onduparaka’s Ade Brian and Bida Ezra showcased their attacking prowess, narrowly missing two golden chances to break the deadlock. In the 27th minute, Ade Brian embarked on a sensational counterattack, unleashing a powerful long-range effort that was expertly saved by Calvary FC’s goalkeeper, Joshua, punching it out for a corner.
However, it was Onduparaka’s moment of brilliance in the 43rd minute that electrified the stadium. With composure reminiscent of a seasoned player, Mandela sliced through the Calvary defense, slotting home a precise finish from a pinpoint Bida pass, sending the home crowd into raptures
