Police FC Relegated From Premier League with Defeat Against Bul FC at MTN Omondi Stadium.

Police FC have been relegated to the StarTimes FUFA Big League after a 5-2 thriller home loss to Jinja-based side Bul FC.

The Cops went a goal down in the first 15 minutes after Simon Oketch put the visitors into the lead. Bul gave away a penalty sixteen minutes later. Forward Kalanda leveled the score after sending Emma Kalyowa the wrong way from the spot.

Ibrahim Nsimbe restored Bul’s lead in the 43rd minute to give visitors bragging rights at half-time.

Ibrahim Nsimbe scored his second and Bul’s third after 79 minutes. Martin Aprem made it four for Bul a minute later. Frank Kalanda scored to secure his brace before Owen Mukisa scored Bul’s 5th.

Bul FC reclaims the 4th spot [on 49 points level with Arua Hill SC], but the Jinja Buls have a better goal tally [53] compared to the Leopards [37].

The cops will see off their last game in the top tier as they come up against champions Vipers SC at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Saturday 21 May 2022.

Bul FC, who have played out a splendid season will welcome SC Villa at home on Saturday 21 May 2022 for their last game of the campaign.
