The countdown to the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s AfroBasket is officially underway, with the continent’s 12 best young national teams confirmed for the prestigious tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.
The hosts headline a competitive field that features reigning champions Mali, 2024 runners-up Nigeria, third-place finishers Cameroon, and fourth-place team Uganda. They will be joined by Tunisia, Egypt, Benin, Senegal, Central African Republic, Kenya, and Morocco, all of whom secured their places through the zonal qualification process or automatic qualification.
