In the second encounter of Uganda’s tour of Sri Lanka, the cricketing action continued to enthral spectators as Sri Lanka Development secured a commanding victory over Uganda XI in Galle.
Batting first, Uganda XI posted a competitive total of 131/9 in their allotted 20 overs, with notable contributions from Alpesh Ramjani, who scored 26 off 23 balls, and Brian Masaba, who made 22 off 24 deliveries.
However, they faced formidable bowling from the Sri Lankan side, with Tharindu Ratnayake leading the charge with figures of 3/18, supported by Ravindu Fernando’s 2/19.
