Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of Allan Okello from as a free agent having parted with Algerian side Paradou AC.
The young star has signed a three year contract with the Venoms.
Okello becomes the latest player to join the Kitende based side after Grant Matsiko, Richard Matovu, Patrick Paul Mbowa, David Bagoole, Fumador Asiwome and Mohamed Salem Ekbad.
Allan Okello said: “I am so happy to join Vipers Sports Club! I am so excited to be here at this big club and l didn’t have to think twice when Vipers called me, l just knew l wanted to sign for the club. I can’t wait to get started with the team.”
Sporting Director Charles Masembe said: “Okello arrives with experience of winning domestic titles and adds further quality and versatility to our attacking unit.”
Okello is unlikely going to be available for Vipers SC’s first home match against Arua Hill SC today at 7:00 PM.
The 23-year-old left KCCA FC for Paradou AC in 2020 and signed a four-year contract. However, his time in Algeria was not turning out as fruitful as everyone thought. He joined the kasasiro boys on loan last season and managed eight assists and five goals.
