Uganda Cranes Coach Micho Names 35-man Squad for Mawejje Testimonial Matches, Mini Tournament In Libya

Mawejje played his last match at St. Mary's Stadium, Ktende as his Police FC side played eventual 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League winners Vipers SC.

Monday – Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho has named the cranes team for the upcoming Tonny Mawejje testimonial matches and the Mini tournament in Libya.

The squad, composed mostly of U-23 players, includes six foreign based players.

Tony  Mawejje’s testimonial matches will be played Wednesday 14th September and Friday 16th September at Lugogo and Masaka respectively.

Mawejje featured for Uganda Cranes between 2004-2018. The former Uganda Cranes midfielder made 84 appearances and scored 8 goals in over a decade.
