Selemon Barega from Ethiopia took home the Gold after winning the MEN’s 10,000m finals in Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Barega bagged a 27.43.22 time ahead of Uganda’s Cheptegei.
Joshua Cheptegei came second with a 27.43.63 time in the final lap and secured the Silver for his country (Uganda)

The third medal (Bronze) for the day was won by Jacob Kiplimo from team Uganda. He came third with 27.43.88 time behind Cheptegei.
