UPL Results – SC Villa win but league title to be decided on final day

UPL Results – SC Villa at the brink of clinching league title

SC Villa were comfortable 1-0 winners over Gaddafi FC as title chase enters final day. Charles Bbaale scored the all important goal for the jogoos.

SC Villa now move to 52 points, two ahead of second and third placed Vipers SC and KCCA FC respectively.

A win for Jackson Magera’s troops on final day will ensure they win the league title. However, a win for all the three teams (SC Villa, Vipers SC and KCCA FC) will see Vipers retain the gong with a superior goal difference.

SC Villa will face URA FC on Match Day 30, KCCA will take on Bright Stars as Vipers SC entertain Busoga United.

Vipers SC 1-1 Bul FC

Meanwhile, Vipers played out a 1-1 draw with Bul FC in Jinja.

Karim Watambala ensured the venoms remained in the race with an extra time equalizer from the spot after Ssekamate had put the Jinja side in front in the 65th minute.

Busoga United FC 0-0 KCCA FC

Just like Vipers, other title contender, KCCA FC also failed to collect maximum points in Jinja.

The kasasiro boys were held to a goalless draw by Busoga United.
