USSSA Zonal Qualifiers: Thrilling Matches Unfold in Masindi

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) zonal qualifiers are underway in Masindi, with several thrilling matches taking place across the region.
Kabalega Secondary School, the Kitara Region Champions and 10th-ranked nationals, were held to a goalless draw by St. Dominic Savio Mixed SS at Booma Grounds. This was the first game to begin and end in the Masindi Municipal USSSA Zonal games.
However, Kabalega Secondary School bounced back with a resounding 7-0 win against Iman Secondary School at Booma Grounds in Group D. This impressive victory propelled Kabalega Secondary School to second place in Group D.
Bright High Giovanni School is dominating Group D, leading with 6 points after two impressive wins. They defeated St. Dominic Savio 2-1 and later trounced Iman Secondary School 6-1 at the Masindi Booma Stadium.
In another exciting match, Masindi Secondary School secured a convincing 2-0 win against Excel High in Group B at Masindi Stadium. This crucial victory earned them valuable points, boosting their chances of advancing in the competition.
Meanwhile, Excel High School secured a 2-0 win against Nyangahya Community SS at Masindi Stadium, propelling them to second place in Group A.
