Wednesday – Calvary FC Midigo will welcome Adjumani Town Council at Midigo Primary School Grounds for FUFA Big League West Nile Derby on Thursday 15 December.
This will be the first fixture between the two sides. Adjumani earned promotion to the second tier league after beating Nebbi Central 1-0 in the finals of the FUFA Regional League playoffs.
Calvary came from behind to stun Soroti City FC 3-2 in their last league match. Ronald, Kilama Dickens, and Kedi Micheal were on the score sheet for the Yumbe side.
Calvary are currently 7th on the Big League table with 12 points. A win will propel them beyond 6th placed Police FC.
Adjumani also managed to pick a 1-0 win at home against Kataka FC in their last FUFA Big League outing. Forward Anyama scored the only goal of the game.
Adjumani are right behind Calvary FC on the table. The Cocks are 8th on 11 points, and a win will elevate them beyond Calvary FC.
Team News
Calvary FC have a nearly fit squad. Dudu Bosco’s side have been boosted by the return of Afema Milton and Adriko Emmanuel. The two players have been out injured for 4 weeks due to injury.
Adjumani Town Council have no injury concerns. Head coach Akena will have a fully fit squad ahead of the trip to Midigo.
