Kaizer Chiefs have announced, they have parted ways with Kamohelo Mahlatsi, after the creative midfielder’s contract was terminated by mutual consent.
Mahlatsi signed for Chiefs in June 2022 from Moroka Swallows. The Sebokeng-born had signed with Amakhosi until 2025.

Chiefs’ statement
“Kamohelo has given his best at all times while a Chiefs player and, following consultation with his representatives, we decided to release him with a view to him finding more regular game time somewhere else.” said the Club’s Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.
“We appreciate his efforts and wish him all of the best for the future.”

The decision comes just six games into the new DStv Premiership season.
In the previous campaign, the midfielder played only seven games across all competitions for Amakhosi, without any goals or assists.
Kamohelo also turned out for SuperSport United, the University of Pretoria, and Ubuntu Cape Town FC.
