Arua Hill SC claims bragging rights in West Nile Derby

Arua Hill Sports Club secured a 3-0 win over Onduparaka FC away at Greenlight Stadium to settle the second leg of the West Nile derby.

Kawawa Rashid opened the scoring in the 44th minute, tapping home Leku Alfred’s low-cross to hand the leopards a lead at halftime.

The home side picked up well at the start of the second period, pushing Arua Hill SC deep into their half with little to show off for.

Substitute Maduka doubled the visitor’s lead, easily heading the ball over right-back Okumu who was later sent off after a second yellow card.

Kawawa added his second and Arua Hill’s third, again heading home to a helpless Caterpillars defence.

The result propels the leopards into fourth place on 49 points, replacing Bul FC who travel to Wankulukuku to take on Express Fc tomorrow. Meanwhile the caterpillars remain 8th on 34 points.
