Caeser Okhuti has been appointed as the new head coach at Onduparaka FC, sealing a return to Greenlight stadium as a club legend.
Okhuti, who has been the head coach of fourth division side St. Leo FC, has been speaking to the Caterpillars and has finally completed a move back to his former club as the permanent successor to Steven bogere who departed the club under unclear circumstances last season.
‘One of most talented young coaches in the game’
Okhuti has been regarded as one of the most talented young upcoming coaches, possessing fantastic knowledge and understanding of the game and this has been demonstrated by his back-back qualification for the Zonal Mini League with St. Leo FC.
Prior to his departure, Okhuti has been serving as one of the assistant coaches at Uganda Premier League side Arua Hill SC, under head coach Mbabazi.
Okhuti was part of the promoted Onduparaka FC team in 2016. As a free agent, he joined KCCA FC. In September 2016, KCCA loaned him for six months to Onduparaka, the newly promoted side from Arua. FUFA cleared him to play for Onduparaka on 28 September 2016 and three days later he scored once in a 4-3 win over SC Villa. He remained there up to 2019.

After captaining the FUFA Big League invincible to the Ugandan Premier League with five goals in nine matches, Okhuti won the Big League Final at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on 17 August 2021 and retired from playing professional football.
