Vipers SC have arrived at St. Mary’s Kitende as they prepare to face Jwaneng Galaxy FC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League on Saturday evening.

Head coach Leo Martins Neivaside’s side know the importance of a win with a bigger goal margin and avoid conceding to keep their hopes alive, especially after losing the first leg 2-0.

Neivaside confirmed in his press conference that the venoms are optimistic of a comeback on home turf.

“We are very focused for tomorrow’s game and we’re ready physically and technically as a team,

“We believe that we can come back for sure, we have the ability to do it of we work out a few points here and there. This game for us we need to play so offensively. We need to score, we just need to think about scoring.

“We have the ability and the capacity to come back. They have a two-goal advantage, and even if we win 3-1 they progress, so we have to make sure we don’t concede,” he stated to Vipers SC media.

However, he did not rule out the quality of Jwaneng and acknowledged how experienced their head coach Morena Ramoreboli is.

“We expect a lot from Galaxy FC, they have a very good squad, a very good coach, experienced coach.”

The venoms welcome back Murushid Juuko and Marvin Joseph Youngman. The duo missed the first leg of the tie. Hilary Mukundane and Patrick Mbowa are ruled out with a knock on the knee and acute achilles tendon respectively. Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo alias Tinga is also unavailable.
