CAF CL – Vipers SC draw 0-0 with Horoya AC

Sunday – Vipers SC and Horoya AC have drawn 0-0 in a wild match, the first leg of their CAF Champions League Group C match at At. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Venoms, who are making their debut in the CAF Champions League, lost 5-0 to Raja Casablanca in their championship opener.

Both sides couldn’t find a moment to make their mark on the game. Milton Karisa had the golden opportunity of the match after Bright Anukani found a space in the area, but the skipper was late to tap in.

Currently, Vipers are third on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table with 27 points in 14 outings, five points behind table leaders KCCA FC.

The Venoms are taking part in the CAF Champions League for the first time.

Horoya FC on the other hand, are top of the table in the Guinea Premier League with 64 points after 26 matches.
