Friday – Egypt registered an emphatic win over Rwanda with a century and two points at the ongoing FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Qualifiers Zone V at the MTN Arena in Lugogo.

The North Africans beat East Africans Rwanda 102-56 in the first game of Friday as the qualifiers approach conclusion.
Egypt were already in the driving seat in the first quarter 26-14. Rwanda failed to cope up with the pace set by Egypt. They trailed by 22 points at the break.
In the third quarter, Egypt surpassed the 70 baskets mark making it 77-41. Rwanda could not find a way back to rival the Egyptians.

South Sudan vs Kenya
In the last game of the day, South Sudan, who lost to hosts Uganda yesterday will battle it out with reigning champions Kenya who beat Rwanda 69-58.
Kenya on Thursday remained as the only team without tasting defeat at the ongoing regional qualifier for the Women’s AfroBasket.
Kenya Lionesses pulled away in the last quarter to beat Rwanda 69-58 at MTN Arena, Lugogo in Kampala, Uganda.
While Kenya improved to 2-0, Rwanda dropped to 0-2.
