Mamelodi Sundowns secured their seventh consecutive league title, cementing their dominance in South African football. The triumph was sealed despite a dramatic twist as Cape Town City handed Sundowns their first defeat of the season, ending their remarkable unbeaten streak.
The Sundowns’ journey to their seventh straight title was marked by tactical brilliance, cohesive team play, and standout performances from key players. Unfortunately, Bafana Ba Style were unable to equalize, resulting in their first loss of the season. Although the DStv Premiership season has concluded, it’s still business as usual for Masandawana as they now shift their focus to the Nedbank Cup final, set to take place this weekend in Mbombela.
