In a swift move, KCCA FC has re-signed Anukani, who previously played for them on a one-year loan from Proline FC in 2019. The 24-year-old midfielder bid farewell to his Vipers teammates this week as he transitions to the Kasasiro Boys return.

Anukani joined Vipers at the start of the 2021/22 season from Proline FC after his loan at KCCA FC ended. During his time with Vipers, he won the Uganda Premier League twice (2021/22 and 2022/23) and the Stanbic Uganda Cup in 2023.

Anukani is expected to create a tight competition for a spot in the KCCA FC’s midfield, which already includes great players like Joel Sserunjogi, Ashraf Mugume, Said Mayanja, Emma Wasswa, and recent additions Steven Munguchi and Sharif Sengendo among others.
