Erick Kambale joins Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh on a 2 year contract.

Express FC stricker Erick Kambale signed for Sudanese side Al-Merrikh FC. The Red Eagles confirmed Erick’s departure from the Wankulukuku based team last evening keeping him with the Sudanese giants till 2024/25.

The forward will always be remembered for the 2020/21 season where Express won the Startimes Premier League after a ten year drought and CECAFA Kagame Cup scoring 20 goals, 15 of which came in the league, and coming second in the Airtel FUFA Player of the year awards.

Last season, Kambale managed to score 8 goals in 24 appearances for Express in a season that saw them finish 6th with 46 points behind Arua Hill FC.
