FUFA Women’s Super League – She Corporates have been crowned champions of the Women’s top-tier League that came to a close on Friday 20th May 2022.
She Corporates versed Kampala Queens at Makerere University Business School Play Grounds – Nakawa in a game that ended 0-0.
The two sides have ended the season on joint 38 points, but She Corporates came on top with a better goal tally. The champions had a goal difference of 13 goals compared to Kampala Queens’ 12.
FC Tooro Queens and She Maroons FC are the two sides relegated to the FUFA Women’s Elite League. The two sides only won 2 out of 17 games in the top tier.
She Corporates’ custodian Daphine Nyayenga kept 11 clean sheets in 16 FUFA Women’s Super League games. She became the first goalkeeper to record a tripple-figure of clean sheets this season.
