He’s finally here! Vipers SC unveil new signing Marvin Joseph Youngman
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions won the race for one of the most exciting midfielders, who has penned a two-year deal at St. Mary’s.
Vipers SC have unveiled Marvin Joseph Youngman after he completed his move from Soltilo Bright Stars FC at an undisclosed fee.
KCCA FC, SC Villa and Express FC were among a host of clubs interested in signing the 24-year-old, but he has signed a two-year deal at St. Mary’s.
Marvin becomes the venoms second signing of the transfer window after unveiling former UPDF FC left-back Isa Mubiru last Tuesday. According to reports, his move has been motivated by the rumor of creative midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga’s likely departure from the club.
What has Marvin said about his move to Vipers SC?
The Ugandan international has given his first interview since joining the club, and says he can’t wait to get started.
He was unveiled by the club with announcement photos of him sitting next to the club General Manager, Steven Mulindwa, while wearing a black T-shirt labelled #VENOMS.
“It’s just an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the country. So, I’m just happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started.” he said.

Prior to his move to the Wakiso-based side, Marvin made made 50 appearances for Soltilo Bright Stars FC across two seasons, scoring nine goals and assisting 12.
