Crested Cranes head coach, George Lutalo still optimistic that Uganda will qualify for the Quarter finals.

The crested cranes have lost both their two opening games at the tournament, 2-0 and 3-1 to Senegal and hosts Morocco and respectively.

Lutalo spoke to the media and said, “I am impressed with the Crested Cranes for the display they have put up and shall continue improving even in our final group game.”

“We still have a chance to qualify for the next round and we shall all go out for it by trying to play very well against Burkina Faso,” he added.

Morocco and Senegal who are level on six points in Group A have qualified for the quarterfinals.

Uganda and Burkina Faso who are yet to win a game in the same group will fight to register their maiden victory when they face off next.

The winner of that encounter will be hoping that results elsewhere go in their favor to go through as one of the best two third-placed teams.
