JUST IN: KCCA FC Parts Ways With 8 Players

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have released a list of players the club has parted ways with ahead of the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

Five of the players’ contracts expired, two players’ contracts were mutually terminated, and midfielder Gift Ali’s second year option was not activated.

Players released

1. Kigozi Samson Andrew (mutually terminated)

2. Kasirye Davis (contract expired on 30/06/2022)

3. Wafula Innocent Esimu (contract expired on 30/06/2022

4. Erisa Ssekisambu (contract expired on 30/06/2022

5. Kadu Patrick Henry (contract expired 30/06/2022

6. Bukenya Joseph (contract expires on 31/07/2022

7. Gift Ali Abubakar (second year option not activated)

8. Yasser Mugerwa (mutually terminated)

“The club would like to thank the players for the memories over the years that they selflessly served. Everyone at the club wishes them the very best for the future,” part of the club statement read.
