KCCA FC: Byekwaso expects a tough match against Wakiso Giants

Seeking revenge on the team that beat them in the opening match this season, Wakiso Giants host first-placed KCCA FC at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The Purple Sharks can close down on the 1-point gap over Morley Byekwaso’s side with victory in front of their ardent fans, while the visitors will be looking to go five points clear at the top of the table.

The last meeting between the two sides at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium ended 3-0 in favor of the kasasiro boys. Anaku Sadat, Kasirye Davis, and Mugume Ashraf were the goal scorers.

KCCA triumphed over Wakiso Giants 3-2 in the first leg at MTN Omondi Stadium as both sides kickstarted their StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign.

However, Byekwaso believes Wakiso has always been a tough test.

He said: “The league has been so tough. We need to go there (at Wakiso Giants) knowing that things are not going to be easy.

“We’re going to fight so much, and see that we play our best football and come back victorious. One we don’t achieve that, pressure will start mounting on our backs.”

Byekwaso said the team is fine and no much changes should be expected for the remainder of the season.

“We don’t need to change much but we need to adjust in some departments but it will depend on the players we have.
