Uganda Cranes’ Khalid Aucho donates to Bugembe United.
Big hearted Uganda Cranes assistant captain Aucho Khalid who plays his trade football Yanga FC in Tanzania donated to his home club a set of uniform.
Khalid Aucho, the Uganda Cranes midfield king pin, has given his home town team – Bugembe United a much needed shot in the arm by donating to them a full set of Uniform.
Aucho has frequently given a hand to Bugembe United, previously providing them with training kits, equipment and jerseys which have helped the Bugembe based side navigate through the Jinja fifth division league this campaign.
The team manager – Isaac Ddungu on Tuesday said Aucho is a rare breed of a footballer, beaming from ear to ear as he sprinkled praises on the Young African midfielder.
“We are very grateful to Khalid Aucho,” he began.
“He is one of the kind hearted players I know, and as Bugembe United, we can’t thank him enough.”
“Aucho has come to our rescue, not for one, two or three times, but he has always been with us since we started.”
“And with this kind of boost, we feel relieved and we greatly believe we shall scale great heights in Ugandan football soon,” Ddungu said.
Webster a close friend to Aucho says, “Aucho is a man who treasures his home club so much that’s why he does whatever he can to support his home boys”
Bugembe United sits fourth with 12 points in the Jinja fifth division league, and will play host to Dams Pitstop tomorrow – Wednesday at Kyabazinga Stadium at 4pm
