Mbale Heroes head coach confirmed dead

Mbale Heroes have announced the demise of their head coach Hussein Ali Kheri. The club confirmed this on their social media platform.

The club confirmed that Keri had been sick and admitted at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital and passed away on Tuesday night. The manager missed the last game of the season with Katakana which ended goalless. However the cause of his death is still unknown amid rumors of COVID-19.

The former tactician was appointed head coach of Mbale Heroes after the sacking of Bobic Odowa and his assistant in April and had been in charge for close to three months.

The late Hussein has had an illustrious career with stints at; Mazziwa, Bandadir Kisumu All Stars, Utari College Kenya, Kenya breweries, Alkhatabali Oman, Harambe stars.

Jinja Arsena, Jinja Municipal, Victoria University, VCC Football club Masindi, Moroto, Paidha, FC Leopard, Bul Fc and Mbale Heroes.
