FUFA football development director loses his father

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has confirmed the death of Muhammad Nkata, father to FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe.

However, the reason for his death has not been communicated.

The statement reads:

“We have received sad news about the death of Mr. Muhammad Nkata- father of our staff Ali Mwebe (FUFA Football Development Director).

He passed away today (Wednesday 16.6.2021) and burial will be held today in Ndejje off Bombo Road.

As per Covid-19 restrictions, the numbers will be limited during burial.

FUFA mourns with the family of Mr. Nkata and Mwebe during these trying times.”
