The 65th Ballon d’or awards saw the world buzzing as to who was going to collect the award. Messi came in as firm favourite with Robert Lewandowski ,Jorginho and Karim Benzema romoured as close competitors . From thirty , players were slowly reduced to leave the best 10 players in the world with Erling Haaland narrowly missing out.
