Morocco & PSG’s Achraf Hakimi under investigation for alleged rape
Wednesday – Achraf Hakimi is under investigation after a 23-year-old woman told police this weekend she had been raped by the PSG player but did not wish to file a complaint.
The Nanterre prosecutor’s office, that is located just outside of Paris, is leading the investigation.

According to reports, the woman only wanted to “make a statement of rape”, but prosecutors are now personally pursuing the case.
They are said to have launched an investigation due to the seriousness of the allegations and the notoriety of Hakimi.
These are the same prosecutors who issued an international arrest warrant for Carlos Ghosn and four people linked to an Omani auto dealer following an investigation into whether they helped divert funds from carmaker Renault to its former chair and chief executive for personal use.

French media reports indicate that Hakimi began talking to the woman on January 16 on Instagram.
He allegedly then invited her to his home in Boulogne on Saturday, reportedly ordering her an Uber to transport her to his home.
All this happened in the absence of Hakimi’s wife actress Hiba Abouk, 36, who is currently on holiday in Dubai with their two sons.
The woman claims that after arriving at his home, the PSG star began kissing her on the mouth while lifting her clothes.
She alleged he kissed her breasts despite her protesting, before digitally penetrating her without consent.

Hakimi’s lawyer, Fanny Colin, however denied the allegations saying, “The accusations are false. He is calm and is at the disposal of justice.”
His club PSG are yet to comment on the matter, which emerged publicly hours before Hakimi was seen at the FIFA’s The Best award ceremony.
