Police FC Quashes Transfer Rumors Surrounding Isaac Ogwang
In response to swirling rumors suggesting a potential transfer of star striker Isaac Ogwang to KCCA FC, Police FC has stepped forward to address the speculation head-on. In an official statement released today, the club unequivocally refuted the claims, asserting that Ogwang remains firmly within the ranks of Police FC.
“We can confirm that Ogwang is still contracted with Police FC and that there is no truth to these allegations,” stated a spokesperson for the club.
The club further emphasized that the rumors lacked substance, pointing out that there had been no formal discussions between Police FC and KCCA FC regarding the transfer of Ogwang.
“The rumors appear to be based on speculations and unverified sources,” the statement continued, “…there have been no discussions between Police and KCCA for a possible transfer of the aforementioned player.”
With the cops emerging as champions of the BetPawa Big League season, Police FC highlighted Ogwang’s integral role within the team as they prepare for life in the topflight once again.
“Ogwang remains committed to Police FC,” assured the management, “…and we have no reason to believe that will change in the near future.”
