Arua – based Uganda Premier side Onduparaka Football Club will welcome SC Villa ‘Jogoo’ to the Greenlight stadium on Sunday 3 April, 2022 as the two sides battle for a place in the last sixteen (16) of the 48th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup tournament.
The 2016 competition runners-up (Onduparaka FC) progressed to the round of 16 after a home win against Tooro United, courtesy of goals from forward Matata Gabriel and skipper Muhammad Shaban.
Meanwhile, SC Villa had to endure a dramatic and tense 4-3 post match penalty to overcome a bull-headed Express at the Betway Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 to progress to the last 16 after standard 90 minutes could not produce a winner from either side.
Head-to-Head
The two sides have only met twice in the Uganda Cup with SC Villa claiming victory at home in the first round of the 47th edition on 1/5/2021. ‘The Jogoos’ managed to hold ‘the caterpillars’ to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture that was played on 4/5/2021 at the Greenlight stadium.
