StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2023/24 Season: Matchday Four Official Announcements

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League is set to make its grand return for the 2023/24 season on Thursday, 19th October, following the international break. Matchday Four is on the horizon, and the match officials for all the upcoming games have been announced.

On Friday, 20th October, the spotlight will shine on the big match as Vipers SC hosts SC Villa under the floodlights. Engineer William Oloyo will be the referee for this high-profile clash, with Isa Masembe and Dick Okello as his first and second assistant referees. Shamirah Nabadda has been named as the fourth official, and former FIFA referee Ali Tomusange will serve as the Match Assessor. Jean Seninde will take on the role of General Coordinator.

Here’s a rundown of the matches scheduled for the upcoming matchday:

Thursday, 19th October:

Busoga United will face Mbarara City in Njeru. Referee: Rajab Bakasambe, 1st assistant: Hakim Mulindwa, 2nd assistant: Juma Osire, Fourth official: Habiba Nayigaga, Assessor: Faisal Nsubuga, General Coordinator: Sumaya Kiwanuka.

– Arua Hill will take on Gaddafi at Adjumani. Referee: Daniel Outeke, 1st assistant: Mario Okwang, 2nd assistant: Tonny Agil, Fourth official: Isaac Ocan, Assessor: Catherine Nagadya, General Coordinator: Morisse Otidi.

Friday, 20th:
– Kitara will play KCCA in Masindi. Referee: Ashaduh Ssemere, 1st assistant: Emmanuel Okudra, 2nd assistant: Charles Zziwa, Fourth official: Tuge Tugumisiriza, Assessor: Khalifan Kanakulya, General Coordinator: Salima Kairungi.

– Vipers will go head-to-head with SC Villa at Kitende. Referee: William Oloya, 1st assistant: Isa Masembe, 2nd assistant: Dick Okello, Fourth official: Shamirah Nabadda, Assessor: Ali Tomusange, General Coordinator: Jean Sseninde.

Saturday, 21st October:
– URA will square off against Wakiso Giants at Lugazi. Referee: George Olemu, 1st assistant: Lydia Nantabo, 2nd assistant: Jane Mutonyi, Fourth official: Ronald Madanda, Assessor: Margaret Kubingi, General Coordinator: Phoebe Kutamba.

– Express will meet Soltilo Bright Stars at Wankulukuku. Referee: Lucky Kasalirwe, 1st assistant: Mustafa Mafumu, 2nd assistant: Samuel Mbabali, Fourth official: Diana Murungi, Assessor: Rosebell Rwamuyamba, General Coordinator: Daniel Yenka.
