German The 48th Edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarter-Final Draws Concludes

The 48th edition of the Uganda Cup draws have concluded this morning as 5 Super League teams aim to hold the cup and emerge as overall winners. The dates of the fixtures haven’t yet been communicated but the draws concluded this morning at FUFA House in Mengo and the teams are awaiting official communication about their respective dates of play.
Current holders Vipers SC are still in the quest to win back to back Uganda Cup trophies and the most successful team in this competition, KCCA FC who have won the trophy 10 teams were eliminated by Soltilo Bright Stars in the round of 32.
The exciting fixture of the Quarter-Finals will be the underdogs game between Maroons SC and Booma FC at Prison Grounds Luzira, the other game to watch out for is the Venoms travel to the Purple Sharks in Wakiso. In the previous 2 seasons, Vipers SC have failed to pick up maximum points in the League at Wakisha Stadium Wakiso and they will have to play to their best level to progress to the next round.
Mbarara City will host Mbale Heroes at Kakyeka Stadium and BUL FC will play SC Villa at Njeru Technical Center. SC Villa already lost 2-1 to BUL Fc at home in the Premier League and will play not to replicate the same result as it was in November 2021.
