Onduparaka 0-0 Wakiso Giants – Caterpillars Hold Table Leaders in a Soggy Bombo Grounds.

Wednesday – Onduparaka FC salvage a goalless draw against table leaders Wakiso Giants at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.

The condition of the field made it difficult for either sides to have the best of the game for 90 minutes.

The result leaves the Purple Sharks top of the table on 18 points after nine games.

Onduparaka remain bottom of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table with 2 points ahead of their tricky trip to Barifa Stadium to play Arua Hill SC on Sunday.

The Caterpillars have struggled this season, remaining the only side yet to register a win in the league. It’s quite obvious the departure of Muhammad Shaban and the penalties for hooliganism have played a significant role in the club’s stagnation.

The club’s appointment of Mawa Haruna and Hamza Kalanzi as head coach and assistant respectively has not yielded the desired fruits.

Onduparaka’s first home game at Greenlight will take place on 11 December against Maroons FC.
