Uganda U19 cricket team endure first defeat at their India Tour
The national U-19 boys cricket team’s undefeated streak came to an end at the ongoing India Tour after they were defeated by Param Veer Cricket Academy in their third tour match.
The Ugandan batting unit chocked under relentless pressure from the Indian spinners as the hosts clinched victory by 85 runs.

The baby crickets started on a positive note after picking back-to-back wins against Paramveer and SAI Cricket Academy in their opening two games.
Despite the loss, there were top-notch individual performances as Jaffer Ochaya, who was given his first match of the tour rose to the occasion and scored 81 runs, 89 byes, 9 4s, 2 6s and a strike rate of 91.01.

Meanwhile, Nyiro Jonathan equally had a good day in office scoring 31 runs, 49 byes, 2 4s, 1 6s and a strike rate of 63.27.
Baguma Joseph was the game’s best bowler with over of 9.0, 1 maiden over, 45 runs, 4 wickets and economic rate of 5.00.
