The Victoria Pearls won the toss and decided to field first against the Namibia women.

The Capricorn Eagles of Namibia had a fair good start to their partnership of Sune Wittmann and Jurriene Diergaardt before Anyipo Evelyne gave them hard times picking three major wickets that disorganized their batting order in her third bowling over.

Jurriene Diergaardt’s 36 runs off 34 balls and Sylvia Shihepo’s 13 off 11 balls was the different to push Namibia women to a total score of 90 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 9 wickets.

In the chase, Victoria pearls had a very good start compared to their opponents but they couldn’t withstand the bowling of Sune Wittmann who picked 2 wickets to deny Uganda their first win of the series.
